TEAM NEWS: OXFORD v STARS

Wednesday April 24, 2024
KING’S Lynn have booked Ben Cook to make a guest appearance in their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership match at Oxford on Thursday (7.30pm).

Cook comes in for Benjamin Basso, who missed last week’s trip to Sheffield after suffering an elbow injury in a crash in Denmark, and he is not yet fit to return.

Niels-Kristian Iversen does resume after being ruled out last week and he takes the No.3 position on a track where he spent three seasons way back in the early 2000s.

The PSH Environmental Stars will operate rider replacement for Vadim Tarasenko at No.2, meaning all members of the team are entitled to an extra ride.

New signing Nicolai Klindt, who will replace Tarasenko, is unable to race on Thursday as team changes must be made a minimum of 72 hours before a meeting in order to become active.

Oxford, who have recently suffered back-to-back defeats to Ipswich, have Scott Nicholls guesting for the injured Lewis Kerr, whilst Erik Riss makes his home debut at reserve.

Rohan Tungate is available to race following the completion of a seven-day suspension for missing last Thursday’s match at Ipswich due to travel problems in Poland.

OXFORD: Maciej Janowski, Scott Nicholls, Charles Wright, Rohan Tungate, Chris Harris, Erik Riss, Ashton Boughen.
KING’S LYNN: Tobiasz Musielak, Vadim Tarasenko r/r, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Palm Toft, Ben Cook, Patryk Wojdylo, Anders Rowe.
