THURSDAY PREVIEW

Wednesday August 21, 2019
KING’S Lynn aim to turn up the heat in the Premiership play-off race when Belle Vue visit on Thursday (7.30).

Monday night saw the Poultec Stars add three more points to their tally at the same time as the Manchester side lost at home to Wolves.

Just seven points separate the sides in the league table with the Aces currently third – but Lynn have three meetings in hand and a win on Thursday could prove pivotal.

Then Monday’s midday showdown between the two in Manchester becomes massive.

And in an extra incentive for fans to back the team, everyone who attends will be given a free raffle ticket to win seats to the Adrian Flux British Grand Prix at Cardiff on September 21.

Boss Peter Schroeck said: “It’s going to be a big one on Thursday because Belle Vue are coming here on the back of a home defeat to Wolverhampton and they will want to get a result so we will have to be ready for that.

“We know we have got to do the business against Belle Vue, we are on a run of seven straight wins at home and we want to make it eight.

“We know we have to be alert and sharp. We have got another good guest in with Rory Schlein coming in and we all know what he can do having spent some years at King’s Lynn.”

Fans should also note there is an opportunity to walk the track after Heat 15 and have pictures with the riders. VIP tickets are also available for £50 and there is also a chance to watch racing from the inside of the circuit. Call 01553 771111 for full details of how to book.

There’s also free car parking, goodie bags for the kids, family tickets for just £36 and catering and bars available for a complete night out of entertainment.
