STARS v SWINDON, PREVIEW

Sunday September 15, 2019
KING’S Lynn take on Swindon in their penultimate league fixture of 2019 at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday (7.30).

After a tough night at Poole on Thursday, the Poultec Stars make a welcome return to their fortress at Saddlebow Road as they look to continue their unbeaten home run.

However, they come up against an in-form Swindon side that are battling it out for top spot with Poole ahead of the play-offs. The Robins know nothing less than a win will do against King’s Lynn if they want to finish top of the Premiership.

Stars skipper Robert Lambert makes his first appearance on home shale in seven weeks after recovering from a back injury. While fans’ favourite Thomas Jorgensen misses the clash with the Robins with a shoulder problem, which means the Norfolk outfit will use the rider replacement facility at no.4.

Fellow Danish racer Michael Palm Toft returns to Stars’ line-up, though, after missing the defeat at Poole through injury.

Stars boss Peter Schroeck said: “It is another tough fixture; they have Jason Doyle and Troy Batchelor, and they all know their way around King’s Lynn. We will have to be at our best and we can’t have any errors. I am hoping we will have at least two of the boys back in the team who missed Thursday.

“Thomas looks a bit dubious because of his shoulder injury but MPT is back and we just have to see what we can do, it is going to be tough, but my aim is to keep the unbeaten run at home.”

KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Michael Palm Toft, Erik Riss, Thomas Jorgensen R/R, Craig Cook, Lewis Kerr, Nicklas Porsing.
SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Adam Ellis, Rasmus Jensen, Tobiasz Musielak, Troy Batchelor, Ellis Perks, Claus Vissing.
