BUSY START FOR JORGENSEN

Thursday February 27, 2020
KING’S Lynn racer Thomas Jorgensen is set for a busy start to the 2020 season.

Dynamic Dane Jorgensen has accepted invitations for a number of individual meetings – starting with the annual Ben Fund Bonanza, supporting the Speedway Riders'
Benevolent Fund, at Scunthorpe on Saturday March 14 (2pm).

He will also take part in Josh Auty’s Testimonial at the same venue on Sunday March 22 (3pm).
Jorgensen is delighted to be able to support such a great cause and is grateful for the extra track time on his road to full race fitness after his injury problems last year.

“It’s always a good meeting to start the season off with and it’s excellent practice,” he said. “I’m always open to doing these kind of meetings and it’s great to be able to help out the Fund. I’m looking forward to it.

“It’s obviously nice to be asked to be a part of the Bonanza and good to do my bit to help them out. They do an awful lot for us riders so I hope there’s a big crowd there to watch us.

“Hopefully I can show the crowd some entertainment which is what this kind of meeting is all about. It should be a really good meeting - I can’t wait!”
