STARS COUNTING DOWN TO RACING RETURN

Monday August 24, 2020
KING’S Lynn co-promoter Dale Allitt is counting down the days to the first competitive racing of the season at the Adrian Flux Arena this Sunday (5pm).

And there’s been plenty of demand for tickets for the third round of the British Youth Championship as fans look to get a rare taste of the action.

With the league season scrapped due to the pandemic, Lynn have stepped forward to host the meeting which also allows the club to get an idea of how people feel about attending live sport.

Said Allitt: “It’s been very encouraging so far and we cannot wait for Sunday, it’s a big day for the club and a big day for the sport.

“We will be only the second track to stage racing with a crowd this year and we must ensure everything is done correctly – social distancing is of paramount importance when you are with people from a different household.

“Our own interests will be with our recent recruit Elliot Kelly who finished third at Leicester on Saturday which was a good result for him. I’m sure he will be proud wearing the King’s Lynn race suit at the Adrian Flux Arena.”

Tickets for Sunday’s bumper event which will feature over 30 heats remain on sale at kingslynn-speedway.com and fans should note bars and catering will be available with appropriate one way systems in place.

The stadium is already covid-secure having held successful stock car events already.
