LYNN READY TO GIVE EVERYTHING

Wednesday July 14, 2021
KING’S Lynn co-promoter Dale Allitt says the side will ‘give it their all’ when they head to Sheffield on Thursday (7.30).

The Stars still only have one win on the board so far this season and Sheffield are unbeaten at home.

Popular British racer Chris Harris steps in for injured German star Erik Riss who will miss the rest of July at least with shoulder damage.

Allitt said: “We know what a tough meeting it will be for the boys but we also know they’ll give it their all.

“Richard Lawson likes it around there, in fact he was signed by them for 2020, the season which never happened!

“Most of the boys have done laps around there, in fact Ricky Wells had a spell in Sheffield colours earlier in his career so knows his way around there.

“We’re going through a difficult time but we have to get on with it. We have to get through it, we’ve been in crisis before and no doubt we will again, but it’s how you bounce back from these things.

“I like Sheffield and it’s a shame I can’t get there myself because of business to attend to at our track, but I’ll be following with interest on our club social media feeds.”

Sheffield have injury concerns over Jack Holder who crashed in Poland on Tuesday night and Josh Bates is a doubt in the reserve slot.

SHEFFIELD: Troy Batchelor, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, Josh Pickering, Danny King, James Wright, Josh Bates TBC.

KING’S LYNN: Thomas Jorgensen, Cameron Heeps R/R, Chris Harris, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Connor Mountain, Ricky Wells.
