NEW SIGNINGS DELIGHTED TO JOIN

KING’S Lynn’s latest round of team changes will be given their first chance to impress at neighbours Peterborough on Thursday (7.30).

Kasper Andersen has made a welcome return to the club and he’s joined by all-effort British racer Ben Barker.

The changes were made in the aftermath of Monday’s home defeat by Sheffield which halted the Minors and Brady Stars’ recent revival.

Andersen, a club asset, has described the move as ‘coming home’ and Barker has vowed to give it his all.

“I’m really pleased to be coming home to King’s Lynn for the rest of the 2021 season,” said Andersen.

Barker, meanwhile, added: “I’m really looking forward to this, I’m grateful for the opportunity and I will give it everything I can.”

Peterborough have enjoyed a fine season and claimed a consolation bonus point from Monday’s defeat at Wolverhampton.

They were widely expected to book their place in the Premiership play-offs soon and are particularly strong around their own track.

Ulrich Ostergaard misses out for Panthers with a wrist and back injury and the rider replacement facility will operate for him.

Fans are reminded the best way to gain admission for meetings at the Showground is by buying tickets in advance from the link on the homepage of the club website although pay on the night is also available.
