BARKER REVVED UP AND READY!

Sunday August 08, 2021
KING’S Lynn’s latest revamped line-up take to the track at Wolverhampton on Monday (7.30).

Former Great Britain international Ben Barker makes his club debut alongside a welcome return for popular Dane Kasper Andersen.

They have been signed as replacements for Ricky Wells and Cameron Heeps who were released last week.

And boss Alex Brady is pleased to have both new signings at his disposal in what is sure to be a tough meeting with high-flying Wolves.

He said: “I’m really pleased to have Ben and Kasper coming in.

“Everyone knows what Ben is all about, all action style and a real battler.

“He never knows when he’s beaten and he’s someone who is desperate to score points.

“Kasper is a rider we know well and is determined to be successful for King’s Lynn, and I’m looking forward to welcoming them both into the team and working alongside them.

“We know what a tough place Wolverhampton is to go but our boys will give it their all.”

Barker, meanwhile, is revved up for his return to Premiership racing.

“I just can’t wait,” he said. “I actually called King’s Lynn earlier in the season asking if I could help but the call finally came last week. I’m raring to go.”

The action starts at 7.30 and all the usual facilities are now available for fans to enjoy once again.

King’s Lynn return home to the Adrian Flux Arena this Thursday, August 12, when they face neighbours Peterborough. Fans are reminded the best and quickest way to gain entry is by purchasing tickets in advance.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Broc Nicol, Nick Morris, Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Leon Flint.

KING’S LYNN: Richard Lawson, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.
