BOSS BRADY UP FOR REVENGE

Wednesday August 18, 2021
KING’S Lynn boss Alex Brady says his side are up for revenge over Sheffield at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday (7.30).

The sides met recently in Sheffield’s first trip to Saddlebow Road and they went away with all four league points on offer.

But Brady has taken heart from last week’s agonising home defeat at the hands of Peterborough when they lost in a last heat decider.

He said: “That was what they call a proper speedway meeting!

“It had a bit of everything and the fans were entertained thoroughly, it’s just a shame we couldn’t get the end result.

“We want revenge against Sheffield. We went to their place and ran them really close, we have to be positive and believe we can win on Thursday.”

It’s the penultimate home meeting of the season for the Minros and Brady Stars and the club are urging fans to turn out in force to back the team.

Once again they are keen to remind fans the quickest way to access the stadium is by purchasing tickets in advance but the box office will also be open to pay on the night.

KING’S LYNN: Richard Lawson, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.

SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Troy Batchelor, Kyle Howarth, Josh Pickering, Adam Ellis, Danyon Hume, Stefan Nielsen.
