BOSS BRADY – WE CAN GET SOMETHING

Sunday August 22, 2021
KING’S Lynn boss Alex Brady insists his side aren’t going to Belle Vue just to make up the numbers on Monday (7.30).

Brady insists his side have what it takes to spring a surprise at the National Speedway Stadium with trio Richard Lawson, Ben Barker and Lewis Kerr returning just a week after their British Final trip.

And Brady says it’s time to put behind them the disappointment and frustration of Thursday’s postponement against Sheffield.

“We’re all disappointed with Thursday but we can’t control the past, we can only look to the future and give it everything we have,” he said.

“We’ll be heading up to Belle Vue not just to get through it, but going with the belief we can get something out of it.

“It’s a brilliant race track, fast, pacey and very much like a Polish track. I know already from social media we will have a good following of Lynn fans so we’ll be doing everything to put on a good show for them, we owe them for their unwavering support they’ve shown us this year.”

Belle Vue will be without Richie Worrall who has a hand injury but the Minors and Brady Stars have a full complement of seven riders for the trip north.

King’s Lynn’s home season continues against league leaders Wolverhampton this coming Thursday with tickets available now. Fans who purchase in advance will get the fastest entry to the stadium with a big crowd expected.

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Richie Worrall R/R, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Jye Etheridge.

KING’S LYNN: Richard Lawson, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.
