STARS VOW TO GIVE IT THEIR ALL

Sunday September 12, 2021
KING’S Lynn have vowed to ‘give it their all’ in the final three Premiership meetings of the season.

Alex Brady’s men head to Manchester on Monday to face Belle Vue after completing their home schedule with the thrilling Thursday night draw with Sheffield.

And club co-promoter Dale Allitt wants to see the team putting the same effort in at the National Speedway Stadium.

“To a man, everyone got stuck in on Thursday,” said Allitt. “Lewi Kerr was sensational and we showed great character to come back and pinch a point.

“The atmosphere at the end was fantastic and it was a great night to round off the season, particularly with the positive news about Richard Lawson and Thomas Jorgensen pledging their 2022 season to the club.

“We’re already talking to other riders and we need to use these next three meetings to give it everything and head into the winter in a good frame of mind after a difficult season. We’’ give it our all.”

Belle Vue came good last week in front of the TV cameras and brushed aside Sheffield with talented British prospect Dan Bewley unbeaten by an opposing rider.

Steve Worrall also rediscovered his best form around the National Speedway Stadium and the Aces will start as favourites.

Alex Brady’s Stars are again without Lawson and have booked former Lynn rider Craig Cook to cover.

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Jye Etheridge, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Aaron Summers.

KING’S LYNN: Craig Cook, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.
