STARS SET PRACTICE DATES

Friday January 27, 2023
KING’S Lynn’s riders will all be taking part in a three-day build-up to the new Premiership season at the Adrian Flux Arena.

The schedule will be completed by Press and Practice on Thursday March 23, with the public session taking place from 7pm.

Prior to that, the full Stars team will be on-track in behind-closed-doors practice on the Tuesday and Wednesday as they look to make the best possible preparation for their league campaign.

The Thursday schedule will feature a press call in the afternoon, whilst the on-track session will be a structured event, in which supporters will see the riders taking part in various meeting simulations.

Rather than the traditional open practice session, the Stars riders will take to the track in a pre-arranged order of partnerships, with a particular focus on establishing an understanding with team-mates.

Following the track activity, riders and management will all be present in the bar for a meet and greet session with supporters.

On-track practice will get underway at 7pm, with the stadium open to the public from 6.30pm.

The Stars kick off their official campaign by facing Sheffield in the first leg of their KO Cup quarter-final at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday March 30.

They then face away trips to Wolverhampton in the league (April 3) and the Cup return at Sheffield (April 6) before the first home league match against Wolves on April 13.

Prior to that, the Stars host the fund-raising Ben Fund Bonanza on Saturday March 25 (5pm).
