BEN FUND BONANZA RESULT

Saturday March 25, 2023
DANNY King became a Ben Fund Bonanza record-breaker with victory at King’s Lynn on Saturday.

The Ipswich and Redcar racer’s performance at the Adrian Flux Arena made him the highest scorer in the history of the Bonanza, overtaking the ever-present Ben Barker.

King also became only the second rider to win the event twice, following his victory at Scunthorpe in 2020 just prior to the Covid shutdown.

The meeting attracted an excellent turnout and King dropped just one point in his qualifying rides before making a fast start to take control of the Final.

But a major battle ensued for the remaining rostrum places with home man Michael Palm Toft eventually taking second place ahead of Tom Brennan, with Richie Worrall fourth.

Swedish star Fredrik Lindgren was narrowly squeezed out of a place in the Final on countback.
