KING'S Lynn have taken an early decision to postpone Monday's ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash with Sheffield.

The Adrian Flux Arena is waterlogged on Sunday with a yellow weather warning and further heavy rain expected all day and overnight into Monday morning.

This means it will not be possible to prepare the track for speedway following Saturday's stock car event.

All relevant authorities have been informed, with the decision taken at this stage to minimise inconvenience and prevent the need for riders to fly in.

A new date for the meeting is to be confirmed.
