FANS' FAVOURITES ON STAGE

Tuesday February 10, 2026
THREE former King's Lynn riders will share tales from their time in speedway at an intimate event to kickstart Nicolai Klindt's testimonial celebrations.

Less than 24 hours before the Sunday March 15 Adrian Flux Arena meeting that marks his more than 15 years of racing in British Speedway, the popular Dane will be putting on another great show in Lynn - this time at The Rathskeller.

Klindt and fellow Stars fans' favourites Niels-Kristian Iversen and Mads Korneliussen will take centre stage at An Evening with Nicolai and Friends to talk about their careers in the shale sport. It is being hosted by Sporting Knights and its founder Gavin Caney.

Klindt said: 'I've been putting in the work to make my testimonial the best possible speedway event of the season. It's my day, but I want to make it a great one for the fans and supporters of the great sport we all love - speedway.

'To make it even better, I got the amazing opportunity to work with Gavin to enjoy a special night with me, my family and two very good mates of mine. We will look back at my life, my career and talk about things that I haven't talked about before. I'm sure that this night is going to be the perfect build up for my testimonial the next day which will be the cherry on top of what I believe will be a weekend to remember.'

The 37-year-old is hoping some friends and family may be able to join him on the night to discuss their own memories of his decade in the UK.

The 'testimonial talk-in' is the perfect opportunity for Stars' fans to say goodbye to Iversen and Klindt; both of whom won't be riding for Lynn this season. Korneliussen is coming out of retirement to race in Klindt's four-team event and last rode at the Adrian Flux Arena in 2016.

Caney said: 'Nicolai, Niels and Mads have given me some of my happiest moments working around speedway and it feels quite emotional to be working with all of them on the same night. Rumour has it that I'm still riding Mads' bike around the track trying to complete a lap!

'With VIP packages and food available, it's the perfect Mother's Day gift for those speedway-loving mums out there too. So come and join us for what should be a belting night at The Rathskeller.'

Sporting Knights' last event in Lynn saw more than 150 people enjoy an evening with two-time world speedway champion Nicki Pedersen at the Duke's Head Hotel in November.

Tickets for the evening with Klindt and co on Saturday March 14, which begins at 7.30pm, start at '15. For more information, or to book tickets, visit sportingknights.co.uk/events.
