BOMBER IS STARS SKIPPER

Thursday March 05, 2026
KING’S Lynn are delighted to confirm Chris Harris has been appointed as club captain for the 2026 season.

Harris takes over as skipper of the PSH Environmental Stars from Nicolai Klindt, who stages his Testimonial meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday March 15 (3pm).

Captaincy is a familiar role for Harris, who is widely regarded as one of the best team men in the sport and led Coventry to the Elite League (now Premiership) crown in 2010 before repeating the feat at Championship level with Glasgow in 2023.

Stars manager Rob Lyon said: “Chris has always been a good team man for whichever club he’s ridden for.

“He’s an infectious character who gets behind the boys, and he’s also a good ‘right hand man’ for me to be able to communicate with during a meeting.

“We have two young English boys in Cooper (Rushen) and Jody (Scott) at the bottom end of the team, and I know Chris will support and encourage them as well as he can.

“Nicolai was a good captain for us and I’m sure Chris will prove to be a good successor. He’s the natural choice.”

The Stars anticipate very shortly being in a position to confirm their 2026 schedule along with season ticket prices, and full details will be communicated as soon as possible.
