NICOLAI Klindt celebrates a UK career which dates back to 2008 when he stages his Testimonial Meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday (3pm).
Klindt, who has captained the PSH Environmental Stars with maximum professionalism in recent seasons, has assembled a top line-up for what will be the first speedway meeting to take place in the UK this season.
Grand Prix stars Max Fricke – who will race for Lynn this season – Brady Kurtz, and Jason Doyle have the opportunity for an early 2026 outing, and Stars fans will also get to see Jan Kvech, Chris Harris, Ben Cook and Jody Scott from their current side along with numerous riders with club connections.
Stars reserve Scott is a late call-up to the meeting after Fredrik Lindgren unfortunately had to withdraw for family reasons.
The meeting includes a 16-heat four team tournament, preceded by four two-minute practice sessions. There will then be Individual last chance and Final races for the top scorers, along with a mechanics’ race during the interval and three outings for the 250cc Young Lions.
Supporters will be invited on track for the celebrations after the Final, and amongst the other attractions is a very special raffle with the chance to win a brand new helmet signed by all the riders taking part – with tickets available for just £1 per strip.
Klindt said: “I’m lucky enough to have created good relationships with a lot of riders, and I’m pretty sure that many more top riders would have liked to race in my meeting.
“My priority was to have four teams with four riders in each that had some kind of connection or relationship with each of those clubs, and that’s what I’ve managed to do.
“I think each team have the capability of winning the meeting, and I can’t put my finger on who’s going to be the team winner.
“I’ve been very, very fortunate with the support that I’ve had, and also some businesses and companies that have sponsored products for the event, and some of them are going to be there on the day.
“A big thank you to King’s Lynn and the team behind the club, led by Buster Chapman, for hosting the event and for their support in making it happen.
“I’d also like to personally thank my committee team, Stephanie Babb and Jamie Griffiths, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and Andy Hague for arranging the stream so supporters who can’t be here can still be part of my Testimonial.”
