KING’S Lynn racer Erik Riss claimed victory in Sunday’s Championship Riders’ Individual at Sheffield.

The flying German was in sensational form as he bagged his first major individual honour in British speedway.

Riss is a part of the Poultec Stars line-up which heads to Wolverhampton on Monday (7.30) for a key Premiership fixture.

Stars reserve Nicklas Porsing is out of Monday’s trip to Wolverhampton after failing a late fitness test - Ulrich Ostergaard comes in as a guest.

Next action at the Adrian Flux Arena is on Monday, September 9 (7.30) when Poole are the visitors in another crucial league clash.
