LOCAL LAD LAMBERT PROUD TO BE A STAR

Tuesday May 05, 2020
BRITISH talent Robert Lambert says it's a privilege to still be racing for King's Lynn - and has described his pride of racing for his local club.

The 2020 season is set to be Lambert's seventh successive in Stars colours and insists he's not going anywhere else anytime soon.

"I do not feel I have any reason to leave them now and instead of that I have plenty of reasons to stay," Lambert said.

"I have had such a great time over the last few years.

"It's also been a privilege because it is a club which is steeped in history with the likes of Terry Betts, Michael Lee, Tony Rickardsson, Jason Crump, and Niels-Kristian Iversen all having represented the club in the past.

"It's a big thing being able to represent and captain your club like I have; I am just looking forward to seeing all the fans again when the new campaign comes around."

Lambert has given an exclusive interview for Issue 4 of the 'Our Stars' season delay programme.

Club owner Keith Chapman also exclusively gives supporters an insight to how the current situation is impacting on the club while co-promoter Dale Allitt reflects on his time as a team manager in the sport.

There are also columns with Speedway writers Joe Appleton, Ryan Guest and Chris Milsom as well as TV and radio broadcaster Nigel Pearson.
