CAMERON Heeps is taking a two week break in a bid to recover full fitness.

The recent signing has clearly been struggling on his return from a shoulder injury and wants more time to recover.

The Minros and Brady Stars will use the rider replacement facility when they head to Sheffield on Thursday.

Co-promoter Dale Allitt said: “We had a chat with Cam this morning and you can tell he’s not really ready to be back on a bike.

“He feels he needs more time for the injury to heal and we support him in that. The last thing he needs right now is to risk any long term damage.

“He’s hoping to be back on July 29, that’s the target at this stage and we wish him all the very best.”
