NINE POINTS FOR NIELS

Monday March 18, 2024
KING'S Lynn star Niels-Kristian Iversen scored a competitive nine points in Monday's Peter Craven Memorial at Belle Vue.

The Dane delivered a solid display in a high class line-up, scoring in every ride and picking up a key win in Heat 14 against Grand Prix duo Fredrik Lindgren and Lynn favourite Robert Lambert.

Iversen did enough to progress in the meeting and reached the five rider semi-final, with three qualifying places available for the Final.

Unfortunately he finished fourth in that race and was eliminated, as Jason Doyle, Lindgren and Ben Cook went through.

The six rider Final was won by Brady Kurtz ahead of Dan Bewley and Max Fricke.

Another Stars rider, Patryk Wojdylo, was a late call-up for the event and picked up two points.

The riders will now head back to Norfolk to prepare for Tuesday's press and practice day at the Adrian Flux Arena.
